Subhas Chandra Bose was an Indian nationalist whose rebellious patriotism made him a hero. He was famously known as Netaji. Netaji was born on 23 January 1897 in Orissa, Bengal division. During his childhood days, he was admired by his principal due to his extreme brilliance. Bose was the one whose attempt during World War II to rid India of British rule with the help of Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan left a troubled legacy.
